About the Youth in Action Festival
The Youth in Action Festival of Montreal (FJAM) is an annual event celebrating music over two days within communities composed primarily of Black individuals. Rhythms that promote a message of peace, love, joy, forgiveness, and harmony between generations. Primarily, sounds carrying a message of harmony that transcends ethnicity, peoples, age, and cultures. Melody, a calm power that breaks the barriers of intolerance, ineptitude, ignorance, aggression, and racism. This aims to help young people achieve their dreams of being on stage to bring joy to the hearts of citizens of East Montreal and its surroundings.
